Persico

0.7 l - 33% vol. alc.

Persico means peach in Esperanto, an artificial language that is only used by a few people, but its unique taste tastes good in contrast to the language of many people. The Volume 33 rpm Persico will please all customers who have been waiting for another decadent luxury spirit, similar to Absinthe, and for whom the trend mix "Sour with Persico", which was shortened to "Persico" due to a mistake, has not yet been long. Since many customers are looking for something forbidden, they leafed through old distiller's manuals and found what they were looking for: The Persico's original recipe was to satisfy the customers' needs.
This spirit contains peach stone, bitter almond and peach blossom distillate. Sandalwood extracts as well as rose, carnation and other essential oils are also used. The Persico is supplied in a black bottle with a label suitable for discos. The orange lettering Volume 33 rpm Persico shines in the black light of the discotheques. Another colour effect is the preparation with cold water, in which the Persico changes from peach to rose-leaf and becomes opalised (cloudy), as was usual in the 19th century. Only this effect distinguishes the "real" Persico, as it is created through the use of high-quality essential oils.
Persico was also banned for a short time at the turn of the century because prussic acid was unintentionally formed during the processing of stone fruit. Due to today's technically improved production methods, of course no one has to be afraid anymore to enjoy Persico, but the attraction of the forbidden remains the same.
In the 19th century Persico was drunk pure, refreshingly tasty with a dash of ice-cold mineral water and a dash of lemon; naturally classic with sparkling wine or champagne. It can also be used to cook or refine desserts, or with cherry juice as a "sour", as it used to be in the seventies.
