The production of the Jade Absinthe is actually only possible because T.A. Breaux and his collaborators own and analyse well preserved bottles of the most famous original Absinthe from the 19th century. Through the ongoing efforts of T.A. Breaux and his staff, Jade Absinthe will remain established as a brand of uncompromising craftsmanship and as a cornerstone of authenticity and quality.
Jade Absinthe is produced in the small French town of Combier. This Combier distillery bought the original used distillery in 1901 after a big fire in the Pernold Fils distillery, which was leading at that time in the Absinthe production, because Pernod Fils was completely renovated and modernized after this fire. These distilleries date back to 1870. Jade Absinthe is produced in the highest craftsmanship with the best raw materials. The connoisseur will like Absinthe from Jade, because Jade Absinthe is often a replica of original Absinthes, which were famous at the turn of the century. So you can enjoy the pleasure of experiencing Absinthe from the past. Jade Absinthe uses only the best wine alcohol (eau de vie) from a certain wine region in France. Thus one has here already from reason on an ideal basis for the final final final product. The difficult process of fine absinthe production requires a lot of knowledge, experience and attention to detail. The Absinthe of Jade is actually derived from original bottles of the Absinthe varieties known at the turn of the century and does not only originate from a firm historical recipe, since the harvest of the Absinthe herbs is always different from year to year. Thus Jade Absinthe presents the results of a decade of analysis on historical absinthes. The distillation takes place in 1150 l copper stills according to the water bath distillation method. Jade Absinthes are not adulterated with sugar or commercial flavors, untraditional herbs and chemical dyes. After filling, Jade Absinthe is not closed with screw caps, but corked. Then the cork is covered with wax and the company seal is pressed in. This is a seal for the originality of the product.
